three friends were traveling in the country when their car broke down in the middle of nowhere. after realizing that there was nothing they could do to fix it themselves, they decided to walk until they found somewhere to stay for the night. eventually, after walking several miles, they came across a little house. after knocking for quite a few minutes, a man appeared at the door. the three friends asked if they could stay the night because their car had broken down. I閳ユ獟l let you stay here on one condition, 'said the man reluctantly. 'don閳ユ獩 draw any attention to my son. he was born with no ears, and is extremely sensitive about it. I mean it, do not even look at the sides of his head!'

after agreeing to this, the three friends were taken into the house and showed the room where they would sleep. the next morning at the breakfast table the son was munching away on toast, and the three friends found they could not help staring at the sides of his head where his ears had been

'what are you looking at?閳?demanded the earless boy.

The first of the friends replied, 閳ユキ was just admiring your teeth-they are so clean and sharp. Make sure you look after them so you don閳ユ獩 ever have to get dentures

The second friend said, 閳ユnd I was just admiring your thick head of hair. Make sure you look after it, for you wouldn閳ユ獩 want to go bald and have to wear a wig

The third said, 閳ユキ was just looking at your clear blue eyes. Make sure you take care of them閳?lord knows you cant wear glasses
