Of the 3 natural redheads I know, not one of them had a parent with red hair. I believe it is a recessive gene.

it may be recessive for both of you. that is a weird coincidence, but I'd say you best avoid accusing her of cheating with her ex.

Wow. Well, if your really concerned bring that fact up to your girlfriend gently. If she gets upset to easily then (in my opinion) she may be hiding something. But if she's calm about it but still against that thought then you may be in the clear. But a blood test is the true answer.

I personally would pull up my family tree and hers and ask my doctor about how that kind of thing goes and then show her the family trees and tell her what the doc. said and plan out confront her

could be a restive gene,dose she seem to be hiding something if so be calm and gentle when you bring it up if you decide to say something and ask your self if you think she could do something like that

it could be recsive that's all. nobody in my family has red hair but i do. but if your blond it has a recsive trate to have red hair so it could have been that the baby got red hair from both of ya'll and you not know it. so i really wouldn't worry much bout it.

ask a genetics expert.if you twos hair is different then it is possible,like blonde and brunette.my son and his wife are both brunettes both of there children have blonde hair explain that one???????????
