I admit i have VERY thick hair. However I use a quality shampoo and conditionor but every time i take a shower i loose like a hand full of hair. I if i washed my hair 3 times a week I could make a village worth of birds nests. after a month i have enough to make a colony.. I am not kidding.
I had to buy a screen for the drain because you have NO idea whats its like to pull it out of the drain if i didn't have it.
Now this is not only in the shower its also all over my pillows, my sheets the floor. Its almost like my hair is projecting off my scalp.
My hair isn't greasy or dry. I have it trimmed reguraly.
i just don't undersatad WHY i loose so much.

Why do I loose SOOOOO much hair?
I would stop using the shampoo!!!!! If you didn't loose hair before using it... than there's your problem. I use herbal essences. Here's their site:

Why do I loose SOOOOO much hair?
losing hair is natural. it's based on a case to case basis. I have thick hair and I lose a lot of hair, i would say a hand full a day. I would suggest using a different shampoo like Redken, which is more organic and healthier for your hair. It made my losing hair less.
Why do I loose SOOOOO much hair?
don't worry! typically everyone loses about a handful of hair in the shower/after brushing. it's completely normal and it will NOT make you bald. what is not normal is if you get large CHUNKS of hair coming out.
Why do I loose SOOOOO much hair?
My hair is the exact same way which happens to be normal. My hubby always says he is going to cut me bald one day but it's a joke. What I have found to help me is, I usually run my fingers down my hair while I am in the shower and collect all the loose hair and then put my hand on the wall and move it around in circles and throw it in the trash so my hair doesn't clog up the drain. No need to worry it is perfectly normal according to my two siblings who are hairdressers.
