You Probably want a short 4 layered type cut- and like bang to ur eyes or a lil longer- thats how i had my hair and i really really like it - u want it straightened and like you can put ur front-top-hair to one side-you'll really like it- so- i hope this helps!!!

I remember when having a hairstyle that was short, spiked and with bangs was considered punk, not emo. Then Dashboard had to go and ruin everything. Go for it if you want, just don't pair it with black and pink or black and red, or anything consisting of black with some other color and people will tease you. (Despite the fact that black isn't emo...).

Anyways...I used to have a hairstyle like this. It had longer layers in front to my chin with some bangs and in the back it was short and I spiked it with Matrix Air Trix, very stiff. If anything people called me punk and goth. It was my best haircut yet, I got so many good compliments from it, as opposed to plain straight, long hair...too dull.
