What should I do about my short hair?

Ok...so last year I had some kind of mental breakdown and decided to cut my hair from 1foot and a half to about three inches long.Now,anyone who doesnt know me calls me a guy!What can I do to make myself look more like a girl?I mean clothes %26amp; hair tricks.I cant dye my hair(unless it is semi-permanent and not a bazillion colors because my mom will flip out)

PS::I want to look a little scene or emo

PSS:::I DO NOT ABOUT WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT SCENE OR EMO KIDS.

use wax to 'boof' it up

and straighten the sides and fringe

or if its so short

gel it

well you could always get extensions and layer the hair you have at the moment and mess it up a little, quite a good scene look :)

the colour of your hair doesnt really matter :)

also try wearing quite fitted clothes if you dont already so you can show your figure off, (make you look more like a girl)

and maybe put a little more make-up on then you wear already / if you wear any.

Theres this girl i know she has her hair cut into a short boy kinda hair. And she wears cute little earings and really nice eye makeup and clothes that make her stand out. check shirts with skinny jeans look nice and are a bit emo or scene. You could get your hair short spikey layers into a really cool mullet. You could semi permantly die your hair multi coulerd that would look really cool too! or just buy some extensions.
